Uchuu Senkan Yamato Opening
The opening to the 70s anime series Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Star Blazers). It is the opening of the subbed version. This anime was said to have started the golden age of anime(basically it was what got people into watching it). Uchuu Senkan Yamato is a really great anime, and I suggest you watch it.

This opening cannot be beat. Modern directors just don't seem to get what makes something great and they try to 'upgrade' completely unnecessary things. Simple and good is plenty, because sometimes the worst enemy of good is "better".

Star Blazers lyrics had "Star Blazers" instead of SBS Yamato sometimes, you think it was because they didn't wanna promote the Yamato Class IJN Yamato? Or something else?
